Major Academic Health System Selects iSirona to Provide Device Connectivity

Key Considerations Include Increased Bedside PC Functionality for Clinicians

PANAMA CITY, Fla.—April 24, 2012—iSirona®, a provider of simplified solutions for medical device integration, today announced that Duke University Health System (DUHS), ranked the #9 hospital in the nation by US News & World Report, has signed an agreement to implement iSirona's device connectivity solution. Duke University Health System will leverage iSirona's technology to deliver patient data from medical devices to the EMR.  iSirona's flexible software-based solution, which can connect virtually any medical device to the EMR, eliminates the need for proprietary hardware and allows hospitals to better leverage the hardware they already use.
