ProMedica Goes Live with the Stockell Healthcare's InsightCS® Revenue Cycle Information System at Its Tenth Facility; ProMedica St. Luke's Hospital

ST. LOUIS, Aug. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Stockell Healthcare Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that long-time client ProMedica has added ProMedica St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, Ohio to the growing list of its member hospitals utilizing the InsightCS® Revenue Cycle Information system.

ProMedica St. Luke's Hospital is the tenth and newest member of the ProMedica family of healthcare facilities to be utilizing InsightCS® to meet its Patient Access and Patient Accounting needs.

Following several weeks of significant planning, training, and testing, the final InsightCS® Production Go-Live process for ProMedica St. Luke's was completed in about a week and required minimal hot-fixes by the ProMedica IT staff and no system downtime for the organization's other 9 facilities already actively using the InsightCS® enterprise system.  No patches or revisions to InsightCS software or to the enterprise database schema were necessary to accommodate the new facility, and on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, the ProMedica St. Luke's staff officially began active use of the InsightCS® system.

The 1,500 new system users set up at ProMedica St. Luke's brings the total number of InsightCS® users across the ProMedica network to over 9,300.

Tom Della Flora, VP of Information Systems for ProMedica commented, "ProMedica has enjoyed great stability and functionality with the InsightCS® product, and it was a logical extension of our core infrastructure to St. Luke's.  The Stockell team was very supportive of our implementation needs and timeline and worked closely with us to assure a smooth transition."

"The ProMedica staff is exceptional.  They are extremely knowledgeable, very organized, and self-sufficient.  As is the case with all system go-live efforts, there were some minor issues to work through, however they were resolved quickly," stated Rick Stockell, President of Stockell Healthcare, "Although our support center was on stand-by during the St. Luke's Hospital go-live, very few issues were escalated to our attention.  Congratulations to the ProMedica staff for their outstanding efforts in bringing this facility on-line."
