National eHealth Collaborative Seeks New Board Members


The National eHealth Collaborative (NeHC) is currently looking to its stakeholders for recommendations on who should be asked to fill vacancies on the NeHC Board of Directors.

Nominations for NeHC’s Board of Directors will be accepted through December 25.  A provisional slate of nominations will be posted on the NeHC Web site for 10 days of public comment in early January 2010 and elections by the membership will be held in mid-January.

The candidates nominated will have demonstrated strong leadership in dynamic environments.  They will be skilled at handling the challenge of generating unified action and support within a diverse, member-driven organization.  They will be someone who knows how build on a vision, balancing the realities of the present with the possibilities of the future to foster growth and maximize impact.

There are four vacancies on the NeHC Board, and elected Board members will be expected to serve out the remainder of their predecessor’s term.
