NextGate Launches MatchMetrix v8 and the NextGate Registries for Healthcare Solution for Accurate Identity Matching and HIE

April 24, 2012, Arcadia, CA—NextGate® today released MatchMetrix® v8 and the NextGate Registries for Healthcare: the technology platform and integrated solution that resolve identity matching uncertainties to enable accurate exchange of healthcare information in support of the industry’s patient-centric, meaningful use, and interoperable initiatives.

MatchMetrix is the NextGate master data management platform upon which domain specific registries, like an EMPI or Provider Directory, are created. Insights from current projects in the United States and Europe, new industry directives, and NextGate’s long-term vision guided the development of MatchMetrix v8. Version 8 contains the latest advances in matching algorithm precision, uniform end-user GUIs and workflow, and standardized APIs for intra-registry connectivity, making MatchMetrix a truly flexible and integrated platform. Enhancements include: additional formulas for increased matching precision, security and access logic for new governance structures, support for the IHE profiles for XCPD and PIX/PDQ HL7 v2 and v3, and Provider Directory solutions for targets such as HPDPlus, DNS, ILPD, ELPD, Whitepages, and Semantic Web.
