Medical Electronic Attachment, Inc and Health Data Vision, Inc Form Strategic Alliance to Streamline Medical Records Retrieval and Analysis

ATLANTA--()--Medical Electronic Attachment, Inc (MEA), and Health Data Vision, Inc. (HDVI), today announced a strategic business alliance to provide a comprehensive, integrated platform for the electronic retrieval and analytics of medical records. This collaboration will enable both companies to actively market an end-to-end solution.

MEA’s Information Exchange Engine allows health plans and chart reviewers to electronically request and retrieve medical records from connected providers, which significantly reduces the necessary time, human resources, and cost of medical record reviews. Health Data Vision, Inc’s platform provides workflows, tools, and automation to analyze and process these medical records in a scalable fashion, servicing health plans and providers nationally by addressing the increasingly demanding and complex requirements for Medical Records Analysis solutions.

The integrated platform will simplify the entire medical record review process resulting in significant automation and cost savings for health plans, while making the process less intrusive and resource-intensive for providers.

“Commercial and Government Health Plans make millions of medical record requests every year, and the numbers are increasing,” says Don Gerdts, National Director for Healthcare Information Services at MEA. “These requests have been historically fulfilled via mail, fax, and onsite visits. Our partnership enables us to impact this recurring administrative cost of healthcare in a meaningful way.”

“It is remarkable how well MEA’s offering fits with our vision of a next-generation, end-to-end process,” says Michael Klotz, president and CEO of Health Data Vision, Inc. “Together, we are able to build on our individually-significant scalability and maintain process transparency. At the same time, clients, regardless of size, will dramatically benefit from speed, flexibility, end-to-end security, HIPAA and PHI compliance as well as cost savings.”
