Peak Health Solutions Announces New Hires

Key personnel to help support continued growth and ensure customer satisfaction

Atlanta, Georgia – December 5, 2012—Peak Health Solutions, a provider of end-to-end HIM services to health plans and healthcare facilities, recently announced the hire of several key personnel to help lead Peak’s continued growth within the industry. These new staff members bring a diverse skill set to the team which will contribute to Peak’s mission to provide the highest level of service and to deliver financial and quality results for its customers. Recent hires include the following:

Patti Kennedy as vice president of operations: Kennedy brings 25 years of experience in healthcare to her position at Peak, serving most recently as vice president of operations for HealthPort Technologies’ Health Records Solutions Division. Prior to that, Kennedy was the south region vice president for professional services with Sage Software, where she led a team of 120 professionals.

Stephen Godfrey as chief technology officer: Godfrey has extensive experience as an IT executive in the healthcare industry, coming to Peak after serving as chief technology officer for Shared Health, Inc, a subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee. Godfrey has also lent his IT expertise to such companies as MedAvant Health Care Solutions and OuterBounds Technologies, Inc.

•  Larry Armold as executive vice president: Armold has more than 20 years of senior management experience in healthcare and technology. He joined Peak from HealthPort Technologies, where, as vice president and general manager of the Solutions Division, Armold was responsible for developing and growing the health plan business and all the corporate operational functions for the release of information business.

Vijay Prabhakar as vice president of health plan solutions: Prabhakar brings a decade of sales experience in healthcare to his position at Peak. Prior to joining Peak, Prabhakar spent the last six years as vice president of sales for The Coding Source/Altegra Health where he was responsible for growing and maintaining sales of a nationwide territory and generated significant growth in risk adjustment-related service offerings.

Helen Imbernino as vice president of performance measurement: With 40 years experience in multiple facets within the healthcare industry, Imbernino joins Peak after most recently serving as the director of quality management and compliance for the National Quality Forum. Imbernino’s extensive experience also includes senior level positions with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, Hartford Physician Hospital Organization and Health New England. Imbernino is also a licensed registered nurse.
