As we publish this Fall Issue of For The Record, we do so with deep appreciation for more than three decades of support from the HIM community. Since our first issue in 1989, it has been our privilege to inform, inspire, and engage health IT professionals across the country through the pages of this magazine.

Today, the ways our readers access news and professional insights continue to evolve—and so must we. After careful consideration and listening closely to our audience, we are excited to share that For The Record is transitioning to a fully digital format beginning in 2026. Moving forward, all coverage will be delivered through our high-traffic website and an enhanced E-Newsletter, providing more timely updates, compelling online features, and an overall experience that matches the real-time pace of the health IT landscape.

While this is our final magazine edition, it is not a farewell. It is the next step in our commitment to bringing you the high-quality reporting, expert analysis, and trusted industry perspectives that have defined For The Record for the past 35+ years.
