As MaHIMA’s president-elect, Young will serve as an aide to the president and will assume the presidency in July 2012. Young’s goal is to work with the association to ensure her peers are prepared for the demands of the future.

“The most challenging aspect facing HIM professionals today is the myriad of complex skill sets required to effectively perform our roles. Today’s HIM professionals must focus on continuous professional improvement,” said Young.

Young is the owner of The Law Firm of Linda M.
